Tens of thousands of pounds have been raised for a charity which supports youngsters in poverty or facing mental health issues.
More than £34,000 has been raised by employees and contractors of Barratt David Wilson Homes South West for Star Scheme, which helps young people through rugby.
The money was raised at a fundraising gala dinner hosted by the housebuilder.
The charity aids youngsters who are poverty-stricken or grappling with mental health issues, and also offers resources to those who have encountered adverse childhood and community experiences.
More than 300 people attended the gala, which featured entertainment by Richard Jones, a magician and former Britain's Got Talent winner, raising £34,550.
Louise Ware, sales director for Barratt David Wilson Homes South West, said: "I’d like to thank all our guests who supported our gala fundraiser, either in person or via donations.
"The money raised will make a huge difference to the young people in our communities who rely on Star Scheme for support."
The South West team from Barratt David Wilson Homes has set a fundraising goal of £40,000 for the Star Scheme this year.
Dan Wooler, founder and chair of trustees at Star Scheme, said: "We are all blown away – it’s a significant amount of money to have raised in one night and we slightly overwhelmed.
"We’re already putting plans in place to ensure the money transforms as many lives as possible and supports some of the most vulnerable young people and their families in the region.
“At least 70 young people who don’t currently have access to community rugby will benefit as a result.
"They will receive support to help them overcome the impact of trauma and adversity and be given the opportunity to thrive.
"We’d like to thank each and every guest who bought a ticket and donated as this money will make a transformational difference to children in our communities.”
The housebuilder's soon-to-be-launched Buckley Gardens development in Semington will feature 144 properties, catering to varying needs, and include communal areas.
There will be a range of two, three, four and five-bedroom properties plus 43 affordable homes with a mixture of rent and shared ownership.
Show homes are expected to open and first homes will be available to reserve this summer.
Close to the Kennett and Avon Canal, Buckley Gardens will be surrounded by seven acres of open space and will include new ponds and more than 100 new trees.
