Swindon's history is full of fondly-remembered pubs that are no longer in business.
They provided a welcoming space for socialising and entertainment at the end of a long day or week, where countless punters made lasting memories and friendships while sampling a range of refreshing ales and spirits.
Several much-missed boozers have either changed hands or closed down completely over the years.
Some were later demolished, others received a completely rebranded makeover and a fresh coat of paint under new management, and a few now-empty

These images offer a tour all over Swindon and its outskirts, from the Railway Village to Wroughton, Park South to Upper Wanborough, and span a number of decades from the late 1800s to the early 2010s.
