A company is celebrating after being awarded a prestigious prize for the third time.

BGA, an automotive parts supplier with a site in Swindon, was given the King's Award for Enterprise in International Trade.

This is the third award the company has been presented by the UK’s Prime Minister and Royal Family.

The Managing Director of BGA, Chris Cameron, said: “Receiving the King’s Award for Enterprise once again is a tremendous honour for everyone at BGA.

"This accolade is a testament to our team’s hard work and dedication to pushing the boundaries of what we can achieve in international trade.

"Meeting the late Queen Elizabeth II, and now King Charles to receive this award in the past has been an extraordinary highlight for us.

"I sincerely thank and congratulate everyone at BGA for making this possible.

The award recognises excellence and ambition in global trade.

It highlighted BGA's growth revenue, with exports to more than 90 countries.

The Marketing Director at BGA, Matthew Greener, said: "Our journey towards excellence is fuelled by our unwavering commitment to innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.

"This prestigious accolade serves as motivation for us to continue raising the bar and delivering unparalleled value to our customers, partners and stakeholders".

The King’s Awards for Enterprise, formerly known as The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, were renamed to continue the legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth II by recognizing outstanding UK businesses.

It has been running for over 50 years and is one of the most prestigious business awards in the UK with recipients entitled to use the esteemed King’s Awards Emblem for the next five years.

The company says its success is supported by its continuous investments across the business and expanding workforce, with a surge in employment of highly skilled workers throughout the Swindon and Wiltshire area.

BGA praised its state-of-the-art products, manufacturing, and testing at its Research and Development centre.

"[We] will be celebrating this achievement within the coming months, with a visit planned from a special guest," the company said.

"Look out for the award celebrations"
