X FACTOR star Ella Henderson has backed Jahmene Douglas to win the show after her shock exit.

The 16-year-old singer/ songwriter was voted off the ITV show on Sunday after finding herself in the sing-off with another of the favourites James Arthur.

And afterwards, Jahmene tweeted that Ella was the Queen of the X Factor despite going out.

The talented teenager received the judges’ praises for her performance of You’re the One That I Want from Grease on Saturday night.

And the same judges’ votes were tied after her amazing rendition of Daniel Bedingfield’s If You’re Not The One, in the sing-off. The decision went to deadlock and Ella lost out as she was the act with the lowest number of public votes.

The girl from Grimsby has revealed it’s Swindon’s own Jahmene Douglas, along with Union J, that she is now backing to win the competition.

Speaking on The Xtra Factor, Ella said: “I am definitely going to be supporting Union J, they are like my big brothers here and Jahmene my little chicken.”

Ella will now be performing at Buskwackers, in the town centre, on Thursday night and it is expected to be the busiest night of the year.

The club is being paid a visit by every X Factor contestant, as they are voted off, each Thursday until Christmas, and it has proved a popular event with the club-goers.

So far fellow contestants District 3, Kye Sones, Jade Ellis, Carolynne Poole, Melanie Masson and MK1 have been to the club, performing a 30-minute slot and posing for photos with fans.

Sara Quinn, of Bushwackers said: “We are so looking forward to having Ella come and perform at Bushwackers on Thursday.

“We are still shocked that she went out to be honest, but it is great for us to have her, we were not expecting it.

“She will be the seventh act to perform at Bushwackers and it has proved to be really popular.

“I would urge people to get there early on Thursday, we open at 10.30pm and it will be busy.”

With Ella leaving Jahmene has become the odds on favourite to win the competition with William Hill offering prices of 4/5, ahead of Middlesborough’s James Arthur and Liverpool’s Christopher Maloney.
