A MAN thought to be an employee at The Range has died after collapsing in the store and suffering a cardiac arrest, it has been reported.
Police, paramedics and the air ambulance were called to the store in Fleming Way just after 11.15am to attend the medical emergency.
Officers confirmed they are not treating the death of the man, 49, as suspicious.
The store was closed to shoppers for a number of hours but reopened before 3pm.
A police spokesman said: "Shortly before midday (Saturday 14 May 2016) police were called to the Range store, Fleming way, Swindon by the ambulance service.
"A local man had suffered a medical emergency and sadly died at the location.
"Police are not treating the death as suspicious. Next of kin have been informed and formal identification will take place in due course.
"Our thoughts are with the family at this difficult time."
