A CAR was destroyed in a fire at a derelict building in North Swindon on Saturday night.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Service received seven 999 calls to a building opposite the Robins Farm pub just after 6.30pm.
As two crews from Stratton and Swindon arrived they found smoke coming from the building and could hear explosions, but when they got inside they found it was a car on fire.
One hose reel was used to put it out. The fire was not believed to be suspicious.
