POLICE have confirmed a 17-year-old died in a popular Coate pub yesterday morning. (MAY 16)
Emergency services were called to the Spotted Cow, Marlborough Road at around 10.30am after receiving reports of a medical incident.
Paramedics treated the teenager on the premises but he could not be revived and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The pub was closed yesterday.
A Wiltshire Police spokesman said:
“We are continuing to investigate the death of a 17-year-old male, however there are no suspicious circumstances.
“A file is being prepared for the coroner.”
