A TEENAGE girl has died during a medical emergency at Coate Water Country Park.
The incident happened at around 7.30pm on Friday evening.
The emergency services, including medics from the Wiltshire Air Ambulance, raced to the park but the girl, who has not been named, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said: "We attended Coate Water in Swindon at approximately 7.30pm on Friday evening following a report from the air ambulance that a 17-year-old girl was in cardiac arrest.
"Sadly, the girl was pronounced dead at the scene. The death is not believed to be suspicious.
"A file will now be prepared for HM Coroner for Wiltshire.
"Our thoughts remain with the girl’s family and friends at this extremely difficult time."
