A spokesman said: "We received a report just after 8.30am this morning reporting that a house in Raleigh Avenue had been broken into overnight and a number of items stolen including a Samsung Galaxy Table, Xbox One, various console games, a purse with bank cards and two bottles of alcohol."
A forensic examination was carried out, along with house to house enquiries.
"We also received a second report regarding a suspected break in at a second house in Raleigh Avenue overnight," said the Wiltshire Police spokesman.
