A 35-year-old Swindon has been charged with four counts of burglary, two counts of handling stolen goods and one count of theft of vehicle.
Homeless Justin Rouse has been remanded in custody to appear at Swindon Magistrates' Court today.
This follows an investigation by the Community Tasking Team into a series of burglaries in the town centre and Old Walcot area.
Earlier today Wiltshire Police confirmed that two people have been charged in relation to seven burglaries in the Swindon area.
Kimberley Lamb, 33, formerly of Caxton Court, and Adam Jones, 30, also formerly of Caxton Court, have been charged with burglary. Both were released on conditional bail with court appearances due in December.
