FIREFIGHTERS are tackling a major fire in Hodson.
At the moment 12 engines are at a thatched building in the village, Dorset Fire and Rescue Service said, with the first call being received shortly after 7am.
Broome Manor Lane and the approach from Chiseldon are closed to allow access for emergency services.
"The cause is not believed to be malicious," said police at the scene.
"We have numerous units from the fire service at the scene attempting to put the fire out and save the building."
It is not thought that anyone has been hurt.
