Royal Wootton Bassett Orchestra is welcoming trombonist Brett Baker to play at its spring concert in the Memorial Hall, Royal Wootton Bassett on May 12 from 7.30pm. Brett has been a guest player with Grimethorpe Colliery Band, which scooped a BAFTA nomination for its contributions to the hit movie Brassed Off. He has also played with stars such as Alison Goldfrapp and Hayley Westenra, and is principal trombone of the famous Black Dyke Band. Brett has performed in Las Vegas, Chicago and New Orleans, Sydney Opera House, the Royal Albert Hall, the Royal Festival Hall and Wembley Arena in London.
