A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after being involved in a car crash on Great Western Way.

The woman is understood to have had a medical episode.

A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: “Shortly before 5pm we were called about a two-vehicle road traffic collision on Great Western Way, Swindon, close to B&Q.

“It involved a blue Honda and a blue Ford.

“The female driver of one of the cars is believed to have suffered a medical episode and has been taken to Great Western Hospital.

“We are currently waiting for the vehicles to be recovered, but traffic is now moving more freely in the area.”
