FIREFIGHTERS put out a van fire on the motorway - none of the people or animals inside were seriously injured.
Crews from the Stratton and Swindon fire stations raced to the side of the M4 between junctions 15 and 16 at around 2pm on Sunday.
A spokesman for Stratton fire stions posted pictures of the scene on social media and added: "Thankfully everyone involved was ok….including their eight dogs."
The fire caused some congestion on the motorway for around an hour as a lane was closed while the emergency services dealt with the incident.
