An Iceland store in Swindon has been closed following a ‘medical incident.’
Emergency services were called to the Cricklade Road branch at around 10:30am on Tuesday morning.
At least two ambulances and several police vehicles attended the scene.
Police have confirmed the medical incident.
A South West Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 10:17hrs to an incident in Swindon.
"We sent three double-crewed land ambulances, a critical care car and a rapid response vehicle and conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Great Western Hospital.”
An eyewitness at the scene said: "There were people waiting outside but they had all just arrived so didn’t know what had happened.
"The closest stores around are all closed too and the ones I’ve asked said they only saw the emergency services but didn’t know anything about it."
