A burning van partly blocked a busy Swindon roundabout.
Firefighters from Stratton St Margaret's fire station rushed to Gablecross on Friday evening to put out the blaze.
One fire engine attended the emergency on the A420.
A Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Reds had a quick start to the shift with this van fire at Gablecross. Safely extinguished using two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet."
