A naked man has been arrested after appearing to have sex with a tree in a Wiltshire park.
Police were called to Queen Elizabeth Gardens in Salisbury by concerned members of the public shortly after 4.30pm on Tuesday, June 13.
Around 25 people were in the area at the time and had been enjoying the heatwave when a man began to kiss and rub against the tree stump, said onlookers.
A video then shows him begin to undress as he continues.
One witness said: "I was just walking in the park with one of my mates and we saw a man hugging a tree and thought it was interesting.
"We walked closer and as we did, we saw his trousers down and thought this is pure gold.
"That’s why I started recording and he just started taking off all his clothes and kissing the tree.
"After I stopped recording, the police turned up and started following the man around then arrested him.''
Wiltshire Police confirmed a man in his 40s had been arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure.
He was taken into custody and has since been released on bail while enquiries continue.
