A body has been found in the search for Bradley Porter who has been missing from Swindon for six weeks.
Bradley, 25, had not been seen by friends or family since he left a property in Penhill Drive on August 6.
Police announced they would be carrying out extensive searches of Elgin Industrial Estate earlier on Sunday, September 17, and have now confirmed officers discovered a body during these investigations.
While formal identification has not yet taken place, Bradley’s family have been informed of the latest developments.
Specially trained officers will now be deployed to support them.
Assistant chief constable Deb Smith has offered her condolences to Bradley’s family and thanked those who assisted the force’s enquiries.
She said: “Our thoughts are with Bradley’s family at this difficult time. We have deployed specially trained officers to support them.
“I would like to thank everybody who has provided us with information since Bradley was reported missing to us.”
