Swindon and North Wiltshire's top pub has been revealed by the Campaign for Real Ale.
And its a double celebration for The Five Bells in Royal Wootton Bassett, which was also named Pub of the Year in 2023.
It has picked up the title five times in total and owners Simon and Becci Cole are thrilled to have won again.
The award, given out by CAMRA, judges pubs in Wiltshire based on their quality of beer, atmosphere, décor, service, welcome, clientele mix and value for money.
Simon and Becci have been running the pub since 1998 and say they are beyond proud to have their hard work recognised.
"The Bells really is a sum of all parts: a fab building, great beer and food, a staff team that rock, a tight family but most of all the patrons that keep her going," said the couple.
"We are most grateful," they added.
Over the last two decades, the Coles have transformed the pub to emphasise its traditional feel with exposed beams and an authentic fireplace.
Speaking at his last win, Simon told the Gazette and Herald: “I grew up on the same road as the pub and it’s a great community. I love it, the customers and neighbours are great, so it’s been a lovely place to work.
“We try to be very friendly and create a relaxed atmosphere, in other words, the sort of pub I would want to go in.
“More and more pubs are closing but we don’t want to see that, because where else can you go to meet your friends? They’re the lifeblood of the community.”
Over 100 locals and pubgoers have taken to social media to congratulate staff at The Five Bells and shower them with praise for a much-deserving win.
"It's still the pub I judge others against. Benchmark of a proper Pub," said Bassett local Christopher Coleman.
"Well done both of you and your Team. We will pop over soon for a meal," added Nic Puntis, an MP candidate for Chippenham.
Other Royal Wootton Bassett residents pointed out that the win was never a doubt for this "proper pub" with a huge crowd of loyal customers cheering staff on along the way.
With another win under their belt, the Coles hope that The Five Bells can continue to go from strength to strength.
