Another closed Co-op in Swindon has been reopened as a Londis.
After the reopening of the former Co-op on Rodbourne Road store as a Londis, the Crossways Cricklade Road former Co-op has followed suit.
Midcounties Co-op's head office confirmed the store, which had been an essential shop for many locals, would be closing at the end of April due to it "no longer fitting in with the long-term strategy."
While it was confirmed that new owners would be reopening the store as a convenience store the future of the Post Office that sat within it was in doubt.
But two weeks ago it reopened as a Londis, including the valuable local Post Office.
Many of the staff who worked at the Co-op have been retained for the Londis as well.
Very similarly to the Rodbourne Road store, the former Co-op branding and signage have been ripped off, and temporary Londis banners have been put up instead.
At the time of its closure as a Co-op, a spokesperson for Midcounties Co-op said: "The Midcounties Co-operative Board regularly reviews our property footprint to ensure we’re providing the best opportunity to deliver for our members and support local communities
"As part of this work, it was identified that the Crossways Store no longer fit with the long-term strategy of the Society and the site was placed on the market."
