Emergency services have been responding to a major car fire which also spread to nearby properties in Swindon.
Firefighters and police officers were called to the incident on Rayfield Grove, off Ferndale Road, shortly before 1pm on Monday, September 16.
A blue Skoda Superb reportedly caught fire, but the blaze quickly spread to nearby properties.
Nobody was believed to be injured and police crime scene investigators were still at the scene until just after 8pm.
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Control received multiple calls to reports of a vehicle fire down an alley in Rayfield Grove, Swindon.
"Further calls were received also stating that this had now spread to a fence and the property.
"An additional crew from Swindon Fire Station were mobilised to the incident and on route, due to a large amount of smoke in the area, they quickly made up for a further appliance to assist.
"Once in attendance, the officer in charge then made up further for a third appliance due to confirmation that the fire had spread to the property. Crews managed to extinguish the fire using 6x Breathing Apparatus wearers, 2x 52mm jets, a Hose reel covering jet and small tools.
"Fire crews also managed to rescue a dog from one of the adjacent properties that had also been affected by the fire and administered oxygen."
An investigation is now underway.
