POLICE have found about £160,000 worth of cannabis in what they believe to be a cannabis farm in the town centre.
Officers swooped on an address in Durham Street, close to Queens Park, last night after a tip off from a member of the public.
About 400 plants, which are worth about £400 each, were found in the property.
The raid is continuing this afternoon with officers removing a large number of plants from the address.
A man has been arrested and is helping police with their inquiries.
