Toploader, who had a world wide hit with Dancing In The Moonlight, will be down on the farm in Swindon this summer after getting back together after an eight-year split.
The pop band who have played with such icons as Coldplay and Muse, and supported Paul Weller and Robbie Williams, are back on the summer festival circuit this year and headlining at the Summer Breeze Festival, Swindon’s answer to Glastonbury.
The festival is raising funds for the Prospect Hospice in Wroughton and Motor Neurone Disease charity.
It is hosted by Dennis and Lorna Ford on Warren Farm, Liddington on Saturday July 2 and finishing on Sunday July 3 at 3pm.
Dennis said: “The day will see a mix of music from all different genres from local up and coming bands to those who are just about to make it in the music industry. It will be a fantastic mix of music for all the family.’’
Top Loader are releasing their third album next month (May) called Only Human and will be performing songs from it at the festival. They will be joined in the line-up by a number of Swindon bands such as the popular Beatbullyz who have recently completed their first headline tour of the UK, party band Breeze, Dennis' own band, who the festival is named after, singer songwriter Matthew Kilford, the new band Coach featuring Lee Knott and Matt Keeble, Hiproute and many more.
Tickets are £17.50 plus £2 booking form for adults and accompanied children under 15-years-old it is £7.50, with 10-year-olds going free.
