IT CAN only be described as a disappointing campaign for Swindon Town, but whatever may happen in the final weeks of the season, this is your chance to vote for the player who has provided that bright spark in League One this season.
Make your selection by filling out and returning the form printed in today's Swindon Advertiser to be in with a chance of winning a shirt signed by the squad, which has been donated by the club.
Entries close at midday on Friday, April 21, ahead of the final home game of the season against Scunthorpe United, with the winning player being presented with the famous Adver Sport trophy ahead of that match.
Your selection can come from those Town players with 10 league appearances or more, which are listed below.
Lawrence Vigouroux: Has been a pivotal figure in his first season as a permanent player at the club, recording 11 clean sheets to keep Swindon alive in games.
Nathan Thompson: Another injury-hit campaign but has played through the pain and put in some strong displays in the captain’s armband.
Brandon Ormonde-Ottewill: Was looking to kick on in his second season at the club but has struggled for consistency and a regular place.
Conor Thomas: Has been used as a utility player for much of the season, but has been a consummate professional in his debut year despite a lack of game time.
Anton Rodgers: A regular at the start of the campaign but has fallen down the pecking order in midfield and become a bit-part player.
Ben Gladwin: Returned to his former stomping ground on loan in January but has only been able to show glimpses of his former self.
Yaser Kasim: Fell out of favour around Christmas and, in the last season of his contract, has appeared to be winding down his stay at the club.
Jonathan Obika: After an injury-hit start to the season, has been a key player for Town with his hold-up play and his six league goals are the most for the club.
John Goddard: In his first season in professional football, started brightly but by his own admission, has not found consistency and has room to improve.
James Brophy: A player who has seen his role adapt as the season has progressed and has enjoyed playing further forward in a stop-start campaign.
Nicky Ajose: Was brought in during January to address a lack of goals and his 12 league starts have proved fruitful, scoring five times to keep Town’s survival bid alive.
Charlie Colkett: A skilful addition from Chelsea in January who has shone on some occasions but gone missing on others.
Fankaty Dabo: Like his smile, he started brightly after his January arrival from Chelsea. Suffered a horror game against Northampton but has rediscovered his form of late.
Rohan Ince: A crucial addition to the squad in January to help provide cover for a leaky defence and add some much-needed physicality to the heart of the Town midfield.
Jermaine Hylton: A season where he would have been looking to make a role up front his own but struggled early on and following a loan spell at Guiseley, has not had much of a look in.
Dion Conroy: Took some time to work his way into contention but a recent run of starts have shown his potential in the heart of the Town defence.
Bradley Barry: Having been a regular fixture last season, injury has seen the full-back play a bit more of a fringe role this campaign.
Lloyd Jones: Has formed several good partnerships in an ever-changing back-line, showing maturity beyond his years, and would consider himself unlucky to drop out of contention of late.
Raphael Branco: A slow start to the season for the Brazilian but since the turn of the year, has been one of Town’s most consistent performers in one of his best seasons in a Swindon shirt.
Luke Norris: The club’s joint-top goal scorer in all competitions this term but has been restricted to a lot of substitute appearances as he has struggled to nail down a regular starting spot.
Michael Doughty: A vital addition at the start of the campaign and started like a train, being involved in a lot of Town’s early goals, before an appendix operation kept him sidelined before he returned to QPR.
Darnell Furlong: Took some time to settle but put in some fine displays at right-back which earned him a recall to feature for QPR in the Championship.
Nathan Delfouneso: Worked hard for the cause but ultimately had a frustrating stint at Town, which was brought to an end in January.
Sean Murray: Following a debut to forget, showed glimpses of why he spent so long at Watford, but was unable to cement a place in midfield before moving on in January.
