FOR Scott Cuthbert, a summer switch across the border from Celtic has been the best career move he could have hoped to have made.
Whilst life in Glasgow provided little in the way of first-team opportunities, the Scot has been an integral cog in a Town defence which has played a prominent role in the Robins’ march to Wembley.
And the 22-year-old is delighted with how the move has panned out, as he prepares for a showpiece final in his first season in Wiltshire.
“It’s been great,” he said.
“Obviously being at Celtic I didn’t get a lot of chances in the first team and coming down here to a different country it’s been great, and getting to Wembley in my first season has been a dream come true.
“I’m delighted to be here, the club’s been brilliant with me, bringing me in and giving me the chance to play and I’m just happy to do that.
“I’m absolutely delighted to be going, it’s still hard to sink in that we’ll actually be going to play in front of such a big crowd.
“It’s going to be a great day for everybody.”
