PAUL Caddis has won the Ultimate Finish Award for the area semi-finals of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
Hundreds of Swindon fans voted for the 22-year-old’s fine goal against Southend United, just beating Oldham Athletic’s Tom Adeyemi to the prize.
Caddis will be presented with his prize from lifelong Swindon fan Tom Aston, who was picked at random as the winner and claims the iPod nano prize.
Aston said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be able to meet and present Paul with his prize.
"It was a great goal and as a life-long fan it’ll be special to meet one of my favourite players.
“It’ll be even better if we can make it to Wembley. There’s a real buzz around the club at the moment and it feels like we’re destined to get there.”
Johnstone’s Paint Trophy’s sponsorship manager Teresa Hardwick said: “Our congratulations go to Paul Caddis for a wonderful goal, we’re sure it will be one he treasures for a long time.
“We’re absolutely amazed at how many superb goals there has been this season. It’s fantastic entertainment for everybody who watches the competition and long may it continue.
“Our best wishes go out to Paul and Swindon Town for the fixtures ahead, along with all other area finalists.”
