Iron Horse eased themselves into their third final in as many years, with a 2-0 win over a stubborn Walcot in the George Thomas/Don Rogers Memorial Trophy.
Goals from Payne and Adams were more than ample to take the Horse into the final, where they will meet Rodbourne Arms who struggled to overcome Messenger B in a tense affair.
The Arms dominated the game from start to finish but could not capitalise on their many chances, until a Wayne Petrie 40-yard cross shot from the left wing looped over the despairing grasp of the Messenger keeper.
The goal was all the more sweet because Petrie was celebrating his 40th birthday.
The Premier Division title chase took another twist with table toppers Zurich crashing to their third loss in a row, this time 2-1 at a resurgent Shield and Dagger.
The home side went 2-0 up early only for a depleted Zurich side to peg them back through Craig Alexander, to set up an uncomfortable end to the game. Daggers scorers were Wayne Moulton and Jackson.
The chasing pack is currently headed by Running Horse, who struggled to a 1-1 draw with an inconsistent Eastville.
The game flowed from end to end with each side creating chances. Top scorer Grant Songhurst was on target for the Horse.
Jesters continued to keep pace with the top two with a fine 3-0 win over Messenger A, singles from Jason Heron, Jason Kearns and veteran McGrory were more than enough to consolidate their third place.
Southbrook entertained cup finalists Queensfield and in a titanic struggle lost 2-1. Queensfield took the lead early in the first half with a scrambled strike from McDonough.
Brook struggled to play their usual passing game, but the second half saw a rejuvenated side up the tempo to force Queenie back, only for late substitute Jamie Scanlon to catch the home side on the break to take Queenie 2-0 up with 10 minutes to go.
Brook again took the game to the opposition forcing a penalty, which was converted by Chris Hawkins, but despite a number of clear chances, Brook failed to score.
Fratellos took another step closer to closing out the Division One title with a fine 2-1 win at PSS Hilo. Goals from Husband and Mazzotta were enough to maintain their top spot.
Ramsbury moved into second place with a comfortable 4-0 win over bottom club Goan Swindon, Derrick (2) and Dobson (2) scoring.
Wason and Webb moved out of the bottom two with a fine 4-0 win over Pembroke, A hat-trick from Robinson and a single from Mapson doing the damage.
