One of the most sought-after UK artists known for his worldwide exhibits is coming to a gallery in Swindon for a limited time only.
Magnus Gjoen is a contemporary artist who has had his work exhibited in permanent collections around the world including the Haifa Museum of Art and Daimler collection, and has previously collaborated with London's prestigious Wallace Collection.
Now the world-renowned artist has announced an exclusive exhibition coming straight to Swindon's doorstep.
His exhibition, titled (It's Not) THE END, will open its doors at Oink Gallery in Old Town on April 26, 2024.
"We are honoured to host Magnus Gjoen’ said Mark Pepperall, owner of Oink Gallery.
"Gjoen has exhibited his work internationally in both solo and group exhibitions from London to Los Angeles so we’re excited to be bringing his talent to Swindon."
Magnus' stylised prints have been described as a 'fusion of classical art with modern symbolism' and have earned him a reputation as one of the contemporary art world's most sought-after rising stars.
The exhibition, on 95 Victoria Road, will open with a private viewing on April 26 followed by a public opening reception at 7pm the same day.
The exhibition will be open to view until 10.30pm, and admission is free but tickets should be bought in advance as the event is expected to sell out.
