Improvements have been made to a public garden in Swindon.
Wroughton Parish Council has funded work to improve footpaths inside Willowbrook Gardens.
As part of this work, it has also created a hardstanding area to enable residents to easily view the details of the Millennium Wall.
These works should also help stop surface water flooding at the entrance to Barrett Way, the parish council says.
A spokesperson added: "These improvements will help also help the improve future events, including the Christmas Lights Switch On and the Duck Race.
"Come and see for yourself at the forthcoming Duck Race on Monday, May 6.
"Thank you to residents for their patience whilst the work was undertaken and to contractors JM O'Toole for doing a great job."
The work was carried out at the request of Vision 4 Wroughton, a community group organising community events and environmental work in Wroughton and maintaining Willowbrook gardens.
As a community group, it also comments on village affairs including planning issues.
