A trial awaits a man formerly of Swindon who denies threatening to kill two people, and coercive and controlling behaviour.
Stephen Pugh, 55, from Chapel Street, Camborne, was accused of two counts of threats to kill, and two counts of engaging in controlling or coercive behaviour in an intimate or family relationship.
It was alleged that while in Swindon, Pugh had made two separate threats to kill the same woman in March and April of this year.
He was also accused of repeatedly or continuously engaging in behaviour which was controlling or coercive with the same woman and a man that seriously affected their day-to-day activities.
However, appearing before Swindon Crown Court on May 3 via video link, the defendant denied all four charges.
A date for a suspected three-day trial has now been set for January 8 next year.
Pugh has been released on conditional bail until then.
He is not allowed to contact a number of people or enter the county of Wiltshire other than to attend court and appointments with solicitors.
He must also remain at his current address and sleep there each night.
