The Bespoke Guardian Swindon Wildcats have confirmed that top scorer Tomasz Malasinski has been tied down for another season.
The former Poland captain returned to the Link Centre in 2019 after previously spending three years with the club between 2014 and 2017 and has been a huge contributor to points scoring ever since.
In over 150 league appearances for the Wildcats in his second spell and has scored more than 300 points in that time and is presently on course for another 100-point season in the National Ice Hockey League.
Speaking to club media, head coach Aaron Nell explained why he was so excited to have extended Malasinski’s contract for another season.
He said: “Tomasz is for me the best all-round import in the National League. His numbers speak for themselves but the work he does off the puck is just as important as what he does with the puck.
“He’s the best import we’ve had in Swindon and I’m thrilled he’ll be with us for another year.
“He’s a leader in his own way in the locker-room and everyone learns from the way he plays the game. I know how excited the fans will be to see #89 continue his story with the club.”
