Notice is given in accordance with section 19(1) of the Education and Inspections Act 2006 that Local Authority intends to make a prescribed alteration to The Chalet School, Community Special, Liden Drive, Swindon, Wiltshire, SN3 6EX from 12 March 2013.

The Local Authority require the addition of provision of up to 7 places that is reserved for pupils with Special Educational Needs in order to provide support for pupils on the Autistic spectrum within Swindon

The current capacity at The Chalet is for 48 pupils and the proposed expansion will increase the capacity to 55.
