Designation of The Parish of Stratton St Margaret Neighbourhood Area

The Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 Part 2 (6) Consultation on the Designation of The Parish of Stratton St Margaret Neighbourhood Area

Stratton St Margaret Parish Council has submitted an application to designate The Parish of Stratton St Margaret as a Neighbourhood Area. Swindon Borough Council is conducting the consultation on behalf of Stratton St Margaret Parish Council, as required by the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012.

Representations received will help to inform the decision on whether the area is designated as a "Neighbourhood Area". If designated the Parish Council would then be able to proceed to produce a Neighbourhood Development Plan for the area. Once adopted, the Neighbourhood Development Plan would help guide the future development of the area.

The Neighbourhood Area Application is available for a six week consultation from Thursday 11th July 2013 until Thursday 22nd August 2013 at 5pm.

The documentation is available for public inspections at Swindon Borough Council One-Stop-Shop Wat Tyler House West, Beckhampton Street, Swindon, SN1 1JH (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm) and can be viewed at Upper Stratton Library and the Parish Council Offices, during normal opening hours of the library and the office. Or can be viewed on the Swindon Borough Council Website at www.swindon.gov.uk/neighbourhoodplanning, or by contacting the planning department on 01793 466513 or emailing forwardplanning@swindon.gov.uk.

Representations should be sent in writing to Planning Service, Freepost SCE5251, Swindon Borough Council, 5th Floor, Wat Tyler House West, Beckhampton Street, Swindon, SN1 1JH to arrive no later than Thursday 22nd August 2013 at 5pm.

You may also fax your response to arrive no later than the time and date above on 01793 466484 or by email to forwardplanning@swindon.gov.uk no later than the above time and date

Further information is available by contacting the planning department at the Borough Council on 01793 466513, or email forwardplanning@swindon.gov.uk.
