Notice of Public Consultation of The Eastern Villages Draft

Supplementary Planning Document and South Marston Draft Supplementary Planning Document

Swindon Borough Council has prepared an Eastern Villages Draft Supplementary Planning Document (SPD), a South Marston Draft Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) and accompanying Sustainability Appraisals and Diversity Impact Assessments.

Public consultation on the two draft SPDs and accompanying documents will run for 8 weeks from 22^nd July 2013 to 16^th September 2013.

The Eastern Villages and the South Marston draft SPDs set out the expectations and requirements of development within the new Eastern Villages allocation including other brown field development within, and adjacent to, South Marston Village.

The draft documents provide additional detail to supplement and build on the strategic policies within the Swindon Borough Local Plan 2026 Submission Document (June 2013).

Copies of all the above documents are available for public inspection at: Swindon Borough Council All libraries One-Stop Shop Reception Desk, All Parish Councils Wat Tyler House, (during normal opening hours) Beckhampton Street, Swindon (Monday to Friday 9.00am. to 5.00pm)

In addition the draft SPD's and accompanying documents will be exhibited at:

• The South Marston Hotel on Tuesday 23rd July 2013 at 3.00pm-8.00pm
• Coleview Community Centre on Tuesday 20th August 2013 at 3pm-7pm
• Hooper's Field Cricket Pavilion Wanborough on Monday 2nd September 2013 at 3pm-7pm
