Swindon Borough Council - Prohibited Streets for Street Trading Purposes

Swindon Borough Council Schedule 4, Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982 - Street Trading

Swindon Borough Council hereby gives notice that it has resolved to change the designation of streets within the Borough for street trading purposes pursuant to paragraph 2 of Schedule 4 to the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982.

Swindon Borough Council has resolved to change the designation of the following streets from prohibited streets to consents streets for street trading purposes:

  • Canal Walk
  • Havelock Square
  • Havelock Street
  • Fleet Street
  • Theatre Square
  • Regent Circus
  • Cenotaph

This is to allow street trading in the form of street markets.
