Bridleway 50 Swindon and Footpaths 53 & 60 Swindon Order 2013

Notice of Confirmation of an Order - Highways Act 1980

Swindon Borough Council

On 28 August 2013 Swindon Borough Council confirmed the above order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980.

The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert Bridleway 50 in the unparished area of Swindon, running from OS grid reference SU13409 84892 to SU13224 84701, on to a line running from OS grid reference SU13409 84892 to SU13205 84603; to divert Footpath 53 in the unparished area of Swindon, running from OS grid reference SU13224 84701 to SU12934 84833 on to a line running from OS grid reference SU13271 84618 to SU12976 84816; and to divert Footpath 60 in the unparished area of Swindon, running from OS grid reference SU13776 83779 to SU13627 83650 on to a line running from OS grid reference SU13776 83779, via SU13700 83758, to SU13627 83650.

A copy of the order as confirmed and the order maps may be inspected free of charge at The One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Beckhampton Street, Swindon from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Copies of the order and maps, costing £15.00, may be purchased there.

The order comes into force on 11 October 2013, but if a person aggrieved by the order wishes to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, that person may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 42 days from the date of this order make an application to the High Court.
