Swindon Borough Council (waiting and loading restrictions and parking places consolidation order 2011

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 18 September 2013 Swindon Borough Council extended the above Experimental Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to be operative from the 21 September 2013 for the duration of 6 months.

A copy of the Order and plan showing the extent of the restriction on each of the above roads may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during normal office hours or online on www.swindon.gov. uk/highwayregulation

The Experimental Order was made for 12 months from 20 September 2012 to prevent cars parking at junctions in Angel Ridge and to introduce a traffic management scheme in Okus Road.. This Order is to be extended for a further 6 months before deciding to continue the experimental order on a permanent basis.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from 13 September 2012 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
