PUBLIC NOTICE

THE SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (ERMIN STREET) (WEIGHT RESTRICTION) ORDER 2013

Notice is hereby given that on the 2 October 2013 Swindon Borough Council made the above Order under the relevant sections of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be:

To restrict HGVs in excess of 7.5 tonnes maximum gross weight to proceed along:

Ermin Street from the junction of the Oxford Road White Hart Roundabout to the junction with Swindon Road
Grange Drive from the junction with Swindon Road to the junction with Ermin Street
Swindon Road from the junction with Hobley Drive to the junction with Ermin Street
To revoke The Borough of Thamesdown (Ermin Street, Stratton St Margaret) (Prohibition of Commercial Vehicles of Over 3 tons) Order 1979.

The Order will be operative as of 7 October 2013 and a copy of the sealed Order and plan may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during opening hours.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from 2 October 2013 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
