SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS AND PARKING PLACES CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2011) EXPERIMENTAL ORDER (NO.1) 2013 MODIFICATION (NO.2)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 4 December 2013 Swindon Borough Council made the following modification to the above mentioned Experimental Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 10(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the modification is as follows:
Canal Walk - reducing the length of the resident parking bays at 3 locations introduced under the experimental order and replacing with 'no waiting at any time'.
Curtis Street - reducing the length of the shared resident parking and limited waiting bays on Curtis Street (west) for approx. 3 metres at its junction with Crombey Street.
Cambria Place - introducing a 'no waiting Mon to Friday 8am to 5.30pm' restriction.
A copy of this modification, the experimental Order and plans may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during normal office hours or online at www.swindon.gov.uk/highwayregulation.
Any person wishing to make representations whether to object or support the modification before it is made permanent , must do so in writing quoting the reference (ZA/Modification No 2/Zones A) specifying the grounds on which they are made, by the revised date of 4 June 2014.
If you wish to question the validity of the modification, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the modification, you may, within 6 weeks from 4 December 2013 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
