ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 AND 15
NOTICE OF TRAFFIC ORDER
FOOTBRIDGE LINKING BARRETT WAY TO BOWLING GREEN, WROUGHTON AND QUEENS DRIVE SUBWAY THAT LINKS KIRBY CLOSE TO DONNINGTON GROVE
This Order is being introduced to allow contractors to carryout refurbishment works to the footbridge and subway and the effect of the Order is to prohibit pedestrians from proceeding on the footbridge and subway.
Alternative Route for the footbridge closure is via the footway route which runs along A4361 Devizes Road and the alternative route for the subway closure is via the pedestrian crossing on Queens Drive situated adjacent to Wolseley Avenue junction.
The Order will come into force on the 22 January 2014 and will remain in force for 6 months but it is anticipated works on the footbridge will take place from the 22 January 2014 to 28 February 2014 and the works at the subway will take place during February 2014. These works are weather permitting and any changes in dates will be notified on site.
