SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (BROAD GREEN ZONE) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2013 and SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (LANSDOWN ROAD) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2013 AND SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (HYTHE ROAD BACK ALLEYWAY) (PROHIBITION OF ENTRY) ORDER 2013
NOTICE IS GIVEN that on the 12 February 2014 Swindon Borough Council made the above Orders under relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to introduce a 20mph speed limit on Lansdown Road and the following roads in Broad Green
Alfred Street
Armstrong Street
Bathurst Road
Broad Street
Elmina Road
Gambia Street
Gladstone Street
Gooch Street
Graham Street
Lagos Street
Medgbury Place
Medgbury Road
Ponting Street
Rosebery Street
Salisbury Street
Volta Road
Station Road - from the junction with Transfer Bridges roundabout to a distance approximately 27 metres east of the junction with Corporation Street.
Motor Vehicles will be prohibited from entering the back alleyway of Hythe Road.
The Orders will be operative as of 17 February 2014 and a copy of the sealed Orders and plans may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during opening hours for 6 weeks from the date of this notice.
If you wish to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, you may, within 6 weeks from 12 February 2014 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
