NOTICE OF TRAFFIC ORDER NEWCOME DRIVE, GREAT WESTERN WAY (FOOTWAY AND SPEED LIMIT), RODBOURNE ROAD

SECTION 14 - THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
NOTICE OF TRAFFIC ORDER NEWCOME DRIVE, GREAT WESTERN WAY (FOOTWAY AND SPEED LIMIT), RODBOURNE ROAD
This Order is being introduced to allow for the Bruce Street Bridges Improvement Scheme and the effect of the Order is as follows:
Newcome Drive - Road Closure from after its junction with Wyndham Road to the exit at Great Western Way.
Alternative Route via Newcome Drive, Hawksworth Way, North Star Avenue and Great Western Way.
Great Western Way - 30mph speed limit 25 metres from National Cycle Network Route (NCNR 45) to the roundabout junction at Bruce Street Bridges.
Great Western Way - south footway from the National Cycle Network Route (NCNR 45) to Newcome Drive. Alternative Route via the NCNR 45, Hawksworth Way and Newcome Drive
Great Western Way - south footway from Newcome Drive to Bruce Street Bridges. Alternative route via the footway east of Newcome Drive, the pedestrian subway opposite the NCNR 45, cycle track leading to Iffley Road, Iffley Road, Rodbourne Road and Bruce Street Bridges.
Rodbourne Road - 20mph speed limit from Baileys Corner roundabout to Bruce Street Bridges junction.
The Order will come into force on the 19 May 2014 for 18 months however it is anticipated the restrictions will only be required until 30 November 2014. All restrictions will be signposted with diversions at each affected location.
