SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS AND PARKING PLACES CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2014) VARIATION ORDER (NO.2) 2014

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 19 March 2014 Swindon Borough Council made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to be operative from the 24 March 2014 as an continuation of the experimental scheme which has been in place since September 2012.

The effect of the Order is the removal of 22 metres of 'no waiting at any time' restrictions at 3 locations along the south side of Okus Road.

The effect of the Order the implementation of 'no waiting at any time' restrictions on Angel Ridge as follows:

Portland Avenue (West Side) the existing no waiting at any time restriction to be extended for a distance of 5.85 metres in a southerly direction.
Portland Avenue and Pasteur Drive junction
Pasteur Drive leading to Celsus Drive junction
Curie Avenue (east and west side) at both access junctions.

A copy of the Order and plan showing the extent of the restriction on each of the above roads may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during normal office hours or online on www.swindon.gov.uk/highwayregulation. If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from 19 March 2014 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
