SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL
SECTION 123 of the LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 (AS AMENDED) PUBLIC OPEN SPACE
NOTICE is hereby given that Swindon Borough Council intends to grant a lease of approx. 1.75 acres of land deemed to be Public Open Space at Saint Mark's Recreation Ground, Whitehouse Road, Gorse Hill, Swindon. The land will be disposed of via a lease with a restriction on use for community tennis and an associated club house. A plan showing the land can be inspected, by appointment, at Property Services, Swindon Borough Council, Civic Offices, Euclid Street, Swindon, SN1 2JH.
Any objections to such disposal should be made in writing to the Head of Property Assets, at the above address, by 2 June 2014. Stephen Taylor Director of Law & Democratic Services
