LICENSING ACT 2003 NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A PREMISES LICENCE

NOTICE IS GIVEN THAT McDonald's Restaurants Limited has applied to Swindon Borough Council on 13th June 2014 for the grant of a premises licence to use the premises at Abbots Cross, Great Western Way, Swindon, SN5 7YH, for provision of late night refreshment for the sale of hot food and drink on Mondays to Sundays from 23:00 hours until 05:00 hours.

Any person who wishes to make a representation in relation to this application must give notice in writing of his/her Representation by 11th July 2014 stating the grounds for making said representation to the: Swindon Borough Council, Head Of  Licensing, 5th Floor Wat Tyler House, Beckhampton Street, Swindon, SN1 2JH. A record of the application can be inspected at the above address during office hours. Representations must be received by the Licensing Authority by the date given above. The Licensing Authority will have regard to any representation in considering the application that complies with the requirements of the Licensing Act 2003, the Regulations made thereunder and relates to at least one of the licensing objectives, being the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, the prevention of public nuisance and the protection of children from harm. It is an offence, under section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in or in connection with an application for a premises licence and the maximum fine on being convicted of such an offence is £5,000.
