Replacement Facilities

Expressions of Interest are invited from suitable contractors under a Design and Build contract using Swindon Borough Council's Class Solutions School's Design for a replacement building to provide improved facilities for secondary students with complex needs.

A named specialist supplier will be provided and the Architects and Design Engineers will be novated to the contract.

The contract will be awarded on a price/quality assessment of tenders. Quality will be assessed using the following criteria:
site organisation and administration
project planning and programme
customer care and working with the school and residents

We are submitting the planning application this July, and anticipate a construction start date in October 2014 with an Easter 2015 completion.

Interested contractors are requested to include the following within their expression of interest:
construction quality control
resources
previous relevant experience and performance
Health and Safety record for the last 5 years
The latest audited accounts.

The deadline for expressions of interest, in writing, is no later than noon, 15 July 2014 and must be addressed to:
