NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14

SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL


FOOTPATHS 10 & 11 HAYDON WICK AND 31 BLUNSDON ST ANDREW STOPPING UP ORDER 2003


On 12 June 2014 Swindon Borough Council confirmed the above order made under Section 257 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.

The effect of the order as confirmed is to stop up that part of Footpath 10 in the parish of Haydon Wick from OS grid reference SU11706 89256 to OS grid reference SU12676 88792; the full length of Footpath 11 in the parish of Haydon Wick from OS grid reference SU11823 89582 to OS grid reference SU12608 88626; and the full length of Footpath 31 in the parish of Blunsdon St Andrew from OS grid reference SU11823 89582 to OS grid reference SU11834 89629; and to create an alternative footpath in the parish of Haydon Wick from OS grid reference SU12266 89107 to OS grid reference SU11919 89565; to create an alternative footpath in the parish of Haydon Wick from OS grid reference SU11817 89547 to OS grid reference SU11399 89495; and to create an alternative footpath in the parish of Blunsdon St Andrew from OS grid reference SU11939 89604 to OS grid reference SU11919 89565; and to create an alternative bridleway in the parish of Haydon Wick from OS grid reference SU11910 89571, via SU11817 89547, SU11701 89253, SU12159 89043, SU12266 89107, and SU12571 89058, to OS grid reference SU12709 88671; and to create an alternative bridleway in the parish of Blunsdon St Andrew from OS grid reference SU13764 89473, via SU13178 89754, SU 11989 89636, and SU11939 89604, to OS grid reference SU11910 89571.
A copy of the order and the order map may be seen at The One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Beckhampton Street, Swindon from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Copies of the order and map, costing £15.00, may be purchased there.
The order comes into force on 5 September 2014, but if a person aggrieved by the order wishes to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the order, that person may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within 42 days of the date on which notice is first published as required by paragraph 8 of Schedule 14 to that Act.
