NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14

SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL FOOTPATH 24 CHISELDON STOPPING UP ORDER 2014

The above order was made on 9 July 2014 under Section 257 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.
The effect of the order will be to stop up Footpath 24 between Marlborough Road, Coate and Day House Lane, Badbury Wick, in the parish of Chiseldon, running from OS grid reference SU 18524 82726 to OS grid reference SU 18725 81995, and to create an alternative footpath instead on a line running from OS grid reference SU 18352 82745 to OS grid reference SU18572 82057.

A copy of the order and the order map may be seen at The One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Beckhampton Street, Swindon, from 8.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday. Copies of the order and map, costing £15.00, may be purchased there.

Any representations about, or objections to, the order may be sent or delivered, in writing, addressed to the Rights of Way Officer, Swindon Borough Council, Service Delivery, 2nd floor Wat Tyler House, Beckhampton Street, Swindon SN1 2JH, not later than 5 September 2014, stating the grounds on which they are made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any made are withdrawn, Swindon Borough Council may confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
