SECTION 14- THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER FOR THE CLOSURE OF FOOTPATHS

This Order is being introduced to allow for bridge maintenance works and the effect is to close the following length of the public right of way footpaths/cycle paths together with the alternative routes to be provided:

PROW Swindon 783 and 784 footpaths from Ocotal Way to Shrivenham Road, Swindon
Alternative Route via Ocotal Way and Shrivenham Road and vice versa.

PROW Swindon 66 footpath which runs under Commercial Road Bridge from Milton Road to Farnsby Street.
Alternative Route via side alley of Tennyson Street, Tennyson Street, Milton Road, Commercial Road and Farnsby Street and vice versa.

PROW Swindon 62 and 63 footpath at the Canal Bridge (to the rear of St Helen's View), Old Town
Alternative Route via PROW Swindon footpaths 33, 61, 60, 241 and 63.

The Order will come into force on the 11 May 2015 for 6 months but the works are take place during specific dates which will be signposted on site.
