The Local Authorities (Members' Allowances) (Amendment) Regulations 2004

In accordance with the above Regulations, Local Authorities are required to publish the sums paid to its Members in respect of allowances.

During the financial year 2014/15, Swindon Borough Council made payments to Members of the Council after tax to the value of £505,462. These payments are made up of a number of elements, including basic allowances, special responsibilities and meeting attendance costs. An analysis of these payments by Member is available on the Council website: www.swindon.gov.uk
